FALL MINI-CONFERENCE

MONDAY OCTOBER 26, 2009
4:00 - 6:30 P.M. 

Bethel Manor Elementary School

Off Big Bethel Rd. near the Reservoir

(Entrance is off Big Bethel NOT Rte. 134)

Please join us for a wonderful evening of learning.  The conference is free for members, $10.00 for non-members, and $5.00 for para-professionals.

Conference Schedule

4:00 - 4:30 - Vendor Fair

4:30 - 5:10 - Session #1

5:15 - 5:50 - Boxed Dinner (optional) Door Prizes & Announcements

5:50 - 6:30 - Session #2

Sessions will include topics on “Poetry Alive”, “Virginia Young Readers”, “The Daily Five” routine, “Writing Workshop”, “Bringing out the Best in Your Students, and “Doodle-A-Story”.

The following box lunch choices are available for purchase for a between-the-sessions meal.  Each box is $9.00.

1.     Chicken Salad on an all butter croissant.

2.    Premium Ham and Provolone Cheese on New Orleans French Bread.

3.    Spinach Veggie Wrap - organic spinach, guacamole and pico de gallo,

      sprouts, mushrooms, and asiago cheese.

4.    Turkey and Cheddar on New Orleans French Bread.

All of the above come with chips, a pickle, a cookie, and choice of drink.

Please send payment (made out to Hampton Reading Council) and box lunch choice to Sherry Edbauer at BMES or Cathy Huemer at Palmer NO LATER THAN Thursday, October 22nd, 2009.
